I was born and raised in Chicago and the Northwest suburbs. I have had the luxury to experience and live in many of Chicago's neighborhoods over the past 15 years. I started my professional career in 1984, working for Levelor Corporation as a customer relations agent. In 1989, I decide that I needed to broaden my knowledge and take on a new challenge. I discovered that the insurance industry would offer me the challenge that I desired. I started with Illinois Vehicle Insurance Agency that same year, as a Customer Service Agent/Personal Lines Underwriter. Within one year, I was promoted to a personal lines insurance sales agent. Within 3 years, I was promoted to a Field Supervisor, which entailed the setup and operations of new satellite offices. In 1993, I was promoted to Senior Supervisor/Field Sales Trainer for the company’s main sales office, there I managed 10 sales agents and 4 support staff, and provided additional training to new sales agents before they were assigned to a satellite office. I remained there until I ended my tenure in late 1996. It was time again for a new challenge. At this point in my life, I had the need to build and develop lasting business relationships. None better, then to help people purchase real estate, while helping them achieve their goals and dreams. In doing so, this also gave me the opportunity to learn all about the great architects that played a major part in the rebuilding of Chicago, after the fire of 1871, and to current date. It also gave me the chance to learn and experience the different styles of architecture our great city displays.

In 1997, I started out as a Leasing Consultant with Chicago Apartments and Condos, and with in 2 years, obtained a sales person license. I obtained a real estate broker’s license in 2003. During my tenure with Chicago Apartments and Condos, I transacted over 1500 rental agreements, and achieved over $70,000,000 in personal real estate sale transactions. In addition, I was involved in managing a team of 6 leasing consultants, and 3 sales associates for the last 4 years of my tenure. During my tenure, I experienced one of the largest transformations of the city and the real estate boom since the fire of 1871.

I joined the team at Chicago Real Estate Resources back in 2007. This change was greatly welcomed because it was going to allow me to further develop my skills and broaden my knowledge in the real estate industry. Within the past 3 years, I have learned about marketing, selling and buying foreclosed and short sale properties. In addition, I lease commercial and industrial spaces, and assist in receivership management services, and perform a variety of light property management services for many of my clients, whom own investment properties.

Working in service oriented environments since I was 16, has allowed me to develop my sales techniques and customer service skills, which has played a major part in my success in the real estate business. My knowledge and the ability to listen to my clients needs, possessing good time management skills and being detailed oriented and providing excellent customer service, have been the key elements to many successful real estate transactions. I truly see to it that my clients needs come first, whether they are a first time home buyer, a seasoned home owner, or whether it's commanding the highest purchase price when selling their home. I carefully and honestly walk my clients through the steps of the home buying or home selling process.

My motto is, "A satisfied client is a client for life."

Being new to Chicago, I was looking for a real estate agent I could trust. John really impressed me with his knowledge of the buildings in the neighborhood where I wanted to invest. It's turned out to be a solid investment even over the past three years and for that I'm grateful.
