Justin Carolin is a real estate and property management professional with experience overseeing receivership assets, multifamily and mixed-use properties, and short-term rental portfolios throughout the Midwest. At CRER, he supports court-appointed receivers and financial institutions in managing distressed assets through the foreclosure process. His responsibilities include coordinating property operations, controlling expenses, managing vendors and maintenance, conducting property inspections, preparing reports for receivers, lenders, and attorneys, and appearing in court on receivership matters.

Justin is also the co-founder of Awayo Group, a short-term rental management company with approximately 30 properties under management. He oversees day-to-day operations, guest services, maintenance, vendor relationships, and portfolio performance.

His broader real estate background includes serving as Vice President at 235 Insurance, where he advises commercial real estate owners and operators on insurance solutions for multifamily and mixed-use properties. Justin brings a practical, hands-on approach to asset preservation, operational oversight, stakeholder communication, and solving complex property challenges.
