The buyer is a local entrepreneur who will occupy the current vacancy bringing the plaza to 100% leased.
Chicago-area retail real estate is slowly making a comeback despite the lingering effects of the pandemic. For many investors shopping centers that feature a grocery store anchor are considered safer investments because most people are still buying groceries in stores instead of online. This deal is the second closing for Sean this week.
