CRER represented Midwest Express Clinic for the newly opened location at 1236 E 53rd Street in Hyde Park’s Kimbark Plaza. This location backfills the former home of Leona’s Pizzeria. Kimbark Plaza is one of the few retail centers in Hyde Park that offers substantial off-street parking. Coupled with the proximity to CVS and the lack of urgent care providers in the area, this was an ideal location for the client.
Midwest Express Clinic is an independent, non-hospital affiliated urgent care chain founded in 2012 in Munster, Indiana, that has grown to 50+ locations throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. The company focuses on patient care, satisfaction, and affordability — offering a convenient alternative to ER visits or doctor appointments — with no appointments necessary, seven-days-a-week hours, and acceptance of most major insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare, Cigna, and United Health Care.
Finley Askin with CRER represented property ownership and CRER’s Nate Gautsche represented the tenant. This is the 2nd location Nate has negotiated on behalf of Midwest Express.
