Nate Gautsche of CRER represented Café Deko in securing their second location, which opened in April at 715 S Dearborn in Chicago’s historic Printer’s Row. Michael Weaver, also of CRER, represented the landlord in the transaction.
The Victorian-inspired café complements the architecture of the Donohue Building, a landmark structure built in 1883. This new location follows the success of their original Art Deco–style café, which opened five years ago in Lincoln Park.
While Café Deko regulars can still enjoy the signature pour-over coffee and ornate décor found at the North Side location, the new Printers Row café offers a larger dining area and an expanded menu featuring breakfast sandwiches.
