CRER Brokers Steven Rapoport and Tim Keenan have successfully completed the lease up of a 6,200 square foot retail space featuring 65 feet of prime frontage along Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park, one of Chicago’s most vibrant and high traffic retail corridors.
The property attracted multiple LOI’s from retailers seeking visibility in a proven destination location.
CRER locked in a deal with Olio, the exclusive marketplace for coveted pop-up storefronts in the Chicagoland area. Olio operates a two-sided marketplace that pairs small businesses and emerging brands with high visibility retail opportunities in sought after locations. Under Olio’s platform, the space has already hosted notable activations, including an Oasis opening pop up store in Wicker Park ahead of the band’s Chicago tour stop, as covered by Block Club Chicago.
The storefront also featured Demolition Collective, a boutique vintage clothing concept known for curated apparel and limited inventory drops.
This leasing strategy underscores a broader shift in urban retail toward flexible, experience driven programming that keeps storefronts dynamic while maximizing rental performance.
