Mark Krzysztofiak is in charge of general operations, property management, and construction. After graduating from University of Illinois in Chicago with a degree in economics and working in the restaurant business for several years, Mark moved into the exciting world of real estate and has been with CRER since early 2004. Growing along with the company, Mark has worked his way up within CRER by being able to complete any task at hand.
Showing his versatility, Mark has worked in the administrative and accounting departments, as well as on the property management team. His current duties include directing the property-management staff on day-to-day operations, construction, budgeting and client relations. Also, over the years, Mark has been the representative of the court appointed Receiver in hundreds of foreclosure cases in the Illinois and Indiana State and Federal courts.
Mark has managed many construction assignments, including various major multi-million dollar projects. He has helped clients resolve building violations, lead hazards, and he has managed several major facade restorations and unfinished development projects, involving property types ranging from single-unit condos to high-rise properties.
