Josh Chowdhary returns to Chicago Real Estate Resources (CRER) as Vice President, bringing a full-circle perspective to the firm where he originally built his professional foundation. With almost 20 years of experience in the Chicago real estate market, Josh is a seasoned leader in asset management, receivership assignments, property operations, and portfolio strategy.

Josh previously spent five years with CRER during a key period of growth, contributing to asset oversight and operational execution. His return combines his deep understanding of the firm’s culture with the executive leadership experience he gained over the past decade.

Most recently, Josh served as Director of Asset Management for 3L Real Estate, where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties throughout the Greater Chicago and Milwaukee area. He was responsible for strategic planning, financial performance, capital improvements, and operational restructuring, consistently enhancing asset value and investor returns.

In addition to traditional asset management, Josh has significant experience with distressed assets and lender-driven situations. He has worked closely with lenders, attorneys, and court stakeholders to stabilize underperforming properties, implement financial controls, manage tenant communications during transitional periods, and protect asset value in complex environments.

In his role as Vice President at CRER, Josh focuses on strategic asset oversight, operational excellence, and supporting the firm’s court-appointed receivership assignments. His disciplined, hands-on approach strengthens CRER’s continued leadership in asset management and receiverships throughout Illinois and Indiana.
