Finley Askin with CRER recently represented the buyer in the sale of 6720 S Jeffery Blvd, an 81-unit multifamily property located in Chicago’s south side neighborhood of Jackson Park Highlands. The sales price was $5,550,000 or $68,519 per unit.
The property is located just south of Jackson Park, one of the largest (551 acres) and most historically significant parks in the city, and the site of the Barack Obama Presidential Library. The New York based buyer was drawn to this opportunity by the ability to purchase a large amount of units under one roof in a terrific location. This buyer has closed over 300 units with Finley so far in 2022 and continues to look to aggressively acquire other multifamily properties.
