George Ranisavljevic was born and raised in Eastern Europe. At the age of 15, he enrolled in military school, where he studied combat engineering; he then went on to actively serve his country for 10 years. After his tenure in the military, George made the decision to enroll in the School of Economy at the University of Belgrade, where he majored in Economics and Finance and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 1993. Upon graduation, George worked as an accountant for a large public transportation company before deciding to move to the United States.
In 1995, George decided to make the move to Chicago based on its growing economy and stable job market. Upon arrival, he found that Chicago’s housing market was experiencing strong growth and decided to venture into construction. In order to boost his career in the housing industry, George enrolled at Coyne American Institute to study electrical engineering and graduated in 1998; he then became a registered electrical contractor with the City of Chicago.
For the next seven years, George worked in the construction and housing industry as an electrician, but then decided to take his experience and knowledge to the next level by obtaining a real estate salespersons license with the state of Illinois. With a background in both the financial services and housing industries, along with the discipline obtained from his tenure as a serviceman in the military, George has proven successful at Chicago Real Estate Resources. He is an extremely focused and patient individual who strives to provide a quality experience for his clients, oftentimes exceeding their expectations.
